We are dealing with new actors and factors, and traditional conceptualizations of security and governance are being challenged. o date, in-depth research has been devoted to the preferences and actions of political actors and changes in the international environment. At the same time, more attention has been paid to the distribution of power and trends in governance and security after the Cold War, September 11, or the Covid-19 pandemic. However, it remains unclear whether traditional theoretical approaches are still adequate to understand these changes or whether we are talking about new paradigms in the evolution of governance, intelligence and security.<\/p><p>The conference aims to bring together new perspectives on contemporary challenges and recent developments in governance, intelligence and security. The event is intended for students and master students in Romania with research interests in: political science, security studies, international relations, European studies, military sciences and intelligence.<\/p><p>The conference will be organized online, on the Zoom platform. There is no participation fee. Each participant will have 15 minutes to present the paper, followed by 15 minutes of debate. Conference applications are submitted via the form available <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSeAxP-rIysh2eB1LT3DprtqfC6AZLmiiM2zUusRmRJPadsWDw\/viewform?usp=sf_link\">here<\/a> and include the author, the university where he is a student, a (provisional) title and a maximum of 250 words of the paper. Applications are received until 13 May, 2022.
